Clinical Reasoning in Complex Neurological 

 

Presentation Synopsis: This presentation will delve into the application of clinical   reasoning in the context of neurological rehabilitation, emphasising the  development of effective treatment plans for patients with neurological   diagnoses. Attendees will learn how to utilise clinical reasoning to tailor   rehabilitation strategies that address the unique needs of each patient. We   will explore the significance of clinical reasoning in neurological physiotherapy and its impact on patient recovery and outcomes. The   presentation will cover a systematic approach to assessing patient progress, identifying rehabilitation goals, and integrating patient history, physical examination, and diagnostic findings into treatment planning. Additionally, we will discuss common challenges in neurological rehabilitation and strategies to overcome these challenges to optimise treatment efficacy. The role of a multidisciplinary team in enhancing rehabilitation outcomes will   also be highlighted, with examples demonstrating successful collaborative approaches.
