With more than 16 years of experience in Behaviour Support, Rachel Hardcastle brings deep clinical experience, compassion and leadership to her role as a Mentor with Allied Health Warrior.
Rachel has practised in Behaviour Support since 2008 and is an NDIS-registered Advanced Practitioner. Rachel is known for a calm, practical approach and a genuine commitment to supporting people working in the field.
Since 2019, Rachel has provided national-level supervision to Behaviour Support practitioners, helping individuals and teams build confidence, strengthen their clinical reasoning and write reports they can stand behind.
Rachel’s professional background includes complex and forensic Behaviour Support. This experience has given Rachel a strong understanding of complex cases and reinforced the importance of evidence-informed, person-centred practice.
Known for feedback that is both kind and honest, Rachel supports practitioners and supervisors to grow through reflection, constructive challenge and practical guidance. Rachel creates a mentoring environment where practitioners can examine their work openly, strengthen their judgement and approach challenges with greater confidence.
Rachel is also passionate about team culture and believes that strong, healthy Behaviour Support teams are built on trust, communication and shared purpose.
As a mentor, Rachel’s goal is to help practitioners and leaders build their professional identity, strengthen their clinical skills and create positive, sustainable change for themselves, their teams and the people they support.
All sessions may be eligible for CPD claim and can be reimbursed through your professional development budget. Documentation is provided for AHPRA, and Occupational Therapy Board requirements.
